What are all your different add on’s and what are the results?
Dermaplaning is a type of physical exfiolation that removes the top layer of skin and peach fuzz, also known as vellus hair. It aids in better product penetration and gives you the perfect base for makeup. And no, it won’t make your hair grow back thicker. Not recommended for inflamed skin/acne skin. Microdermabrasion is another method of physical exfiolation, it utilizies a handheld diamond tip piece that has a suction that gently buffs your skin. Cool Peels are a non invasive approach to peels. Suitable for all skin types and conditions, varying in strength and formulations, with a slight chance of flaking. Alginate Mask is a rubberizing mask to help increase product penetration, soothe inflammation, and balance the pH. Not suitable for anyone claustrophobic. Hydration Infusion is a big glass of water for your skin, providing deep hydration for the skin, using an hydrating sheet mask, followed by a cool mist of serum leaving you plump and glowy,. LED is included in every facial. It helps to reduce inflammation, stimulate fibroblasts, and kill acne causing bacteria.
Do you have any pregnancy or nursing safe facials?
Yes! Any facial can be altered to be safe, except for the Cool Peels and the Procell Treatments.
I had some flaking and/or breakouts after my facial. Is that normal?
Yes! There’s always a chance of flaking after a facial especially if we added on a peel. If that happens, just keep the skin hydrated and don’t exfiolate or pick at it. Breakouts are also normal. Acne can take up to 90 days to come up to the surface of the skin, so using products to increase the cellular turnover helps bring things up sooner rather than later. This is also known as purging.
What is ProCell Microchanneling?
Procell Micochanneling is a noninvasive procedure to help stimulate collagen and elastin. This will help target fine lines and wrinkles, reduce pigmentation, and reduce scarring. Microchanneling stimulates the body to release peptides, cytokines and growth factors that induce collagen production. You may be slightly sunburned feeling for the first 24-48 hours after, however we will send you home with the rest of the serum to help nourish and hydrate your skin. This is suitable for most people and skin conditions. It is recommend to do a series of 3-6 to see the best results. The ProCell Elite includes the choice of a dermaplaning or cool peel add on depending on our skin, and an alginate mask.
